Rendez-you

Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. The service and its operator

Rendez-you is an appointment booking service: each organisation (salon, practice, freelancer…) creates its booking page, where its customers book by chatting with an assistant. The service is available on booking.salesplusplus.io, in a chat button the organisation can place on its own website, and later on WhatsApp.

By using Rendez-you (creating an account, writing to an organisation's assistant or confirming an appointment), you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. Definitions

  • Organisation: the person or company that creates a booking page and offers its services; its members are the people it invites to manage it.
  • Customer: the person who books an appointment with an organisation.
  • Assistant: the program that talks with the customer, offers the free slots and passes the request on.

3. Accounts and identification

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Rendez-you.
  • Organisations sign in with Google, or with an e-mail address and a password; the mobile number is verified once by SMS. Keep your password secret: after several wrong attempts the account is locked for a few minutes.
  • Customers can chat without an account. When confirming, they identify themselves the way the organisation chose: verified account (Google and phone), phone verified by an SMS code, or contact details given without verification (name, phone, optional e-mail).
  • The information you give must be accurate and yours. You are responsible for what is done from your account; tell us at once about any use you did not authorise.

4. Customers' appointments

  • The assistant passes your request on to the organisation. An appointment is only confirmed when Rendez-you tells you so (on screen, by e-mail or SMS); until then it is a request awaiting the organisation's answer.
  • The service itself (haircut, treatment, consultation…) is provided by the organisation, under its own terms, prices and cancellation rules. SMART FUND SRL is not a party to the contract between the customer and the organisation.
  • Cancel as early as possible an appointment you cannot attend, from the tracking link, your account or the conversation.
  • A phone number given without verification can only hold a limited number of pending requests, to prevent abusive bookings.

5. Organisations' commitments

  • The organisation is responsible for the information it publishes (services, durations, prices, hours, address, team) and answers requests within the time shown.
  • It chooses its customers' identification level and how bookings are confirmed (by itself or automatically), according to its activity.
  • If it connects a calendar (Google Calendar or a subscription link), it authorises Rendez-you to read its busy periods and, for Google, to write the appointments booked through Rendez-you. It can disconnect it at any time. Without a connected calendar, slots are computed from its hours, its blocked times and the appointments already recorded, and each confirmed appointment is sent to it by e-mail with its calendar file.
  • For the appointments it adds itself (taken by phone or at the desk), it only records the contact details the customer gave it.
  • It only uses its customers' data to serve them, in line with the GDPR, and is responsible for the processing it does for its own activity.
  • If it places the chat button on its own website, it declares that website's addresses in Rendez-you and informs its visitors in its own privacy policy.
  • Any fees for organisations are subject to a separate agreement. During the pilot phase the service is free.

6. Artificial intelligence

The assistant uses a language model to understand messages and write its answers. It can misunderstand a request: always check the summary (service, day, time, organisation) before confirming. Dates, times and availability are computed by the software, not by the model.

7. WhatsApp

When Rendez-you is used on WhatsApp, it relies on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform; your use of WhatsApp remains subject to WhatsApp's terms. Rendez-you only sends messages about appointments you requested, never advertising.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use Rendez-you to book fake appointments, impersonate someone, harass an organisation or a customer, publish unlawful content, try to access other people's data, bypass the anti-robot protections, overload or disrupt the service, or scrape its data. We may suspend an account or a page that breaks these rules.

9. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Rendez-you available and accurate, but cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, SMART FUND SRL is not liable for indirect damages, nor for the services provided by organisations. Nothing in these terms limits consumers' rights under Belgian and EU law, nor our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Intellectual property

Rendez-you, its software, name and logo belong to SMART FUND SRL. You keep the rights to the content you provide (texts, your organisation's logo) and allow us to use it only to run the service.

11. Ending use

You can stop using Rendez-you and ask for your account to be deleted at any time (see Data deletion). An organisation can take its page offline at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page with its date; for a significant change we tell organisations in advance by e-mail.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Before any action, contact us: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, disputes fall under the courts of Liège, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules; consumers may also turn to the Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be).
