Rendez-you is a booking assistant for organisations (beauty salons, hairdressers, practices, therapists, freelancers…). Customers write in their own words; the assistant finds a free slot, passes the request on to the organisation and keeps the customer informed until the appointment.

What Rendez-you does

For customers

Ask for an appointment in plain language (“a manicure on Thursday afternoon”), pick a service and a time among the proposed slots, confirm and follow the appointment. Confirmations and changes arrive by e-mail or SMS.

For organisations

The organisation describes its services, hours and team, and connects its calendar if it wishes. Rendez-you only offers slots that are really free, submits each request to it (or confirms it automatically) and adds the appointment to its calendar.

In the customer's language

The assistant answers in the customer's language. Dates and times are always computed by the software, never guessed: no appointment can be booked in the past.

How Rendez-you uses WhatsApp

Rendez-you uses the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) of Meta on WhatsApp numbers dedicated to the booking service. A conversation always starts with the customer.

Messages received are read by the assistant to understand the request (service, day, time) and answer it.
Messages sent are the assistant's answers: available slots, confirmation buttons, the organisation's address and the appointment's calendar file.
Notifications (confirmation, refusal, reminder, cancellation) are sent with templates approved by Meta, only for appointments the customer requested.
No advertising messages. The customer's number and messages are never sold or used for advertising. A customer can ask for the deletion of their data at any time (see Data deletion).

How Rendez-you uses Google

Sign in with Google: Rendez-you receives your name, e-mail address and profile picture, to create and secure your account.
Google Calendar (organisations only, optional): to know when the organisation is busy, so that only free slots are offered, and to create, update or delete the appointments booked through Rendez-you. Rendez-you never reads the content of other events.
